Mission

To motivate the youth of remote and backward area by developing their talents and preparing them for employment and self-employment by means of higher education and striving for development of Konkan and ultimately the nation.

The objectives of the College

To create social awareness among the students in order to equip their minds for the feeling of secularism and uplift the underprivileged culturally and socially.

To impart higher education to the students of economically weak and backward sections of society.
To create the sense of discipline in terms of regularity, sincerity and punctuality among the students and make them responsible and respectable citizens of India.
To aim at overall personality development of the students through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
To prepare the students to face the challenges created by the emerging global situation.
To create the feeling of corporate life among the students.

* Digitize the entire system of governance, right from HR aspects to 360* feedback from all stakeholders to Finance
* Build on College Development Plan for each year across all Departments.
* Institute an Academic Audit process for Quality sustenance.
* Strong focus on gender equity and inhouse build gender sensitization programmes for students.

Leadership And Governance

* Long term leadership development amongst teaching fraternity.
* Professional development of all teachers and non-teaching personnel to gear to take up institutional leadership.
* Build on administrative personnel.
* Staff training to improve teaching learning process is also an area of concern.

Student Development Program

The institute will strike to implement programmes for student development like -

Orientation programme in the beginning of the academic year for first year students
Finishing course to refine techniques, interview techniques etc.
Soft skill development programme for final year student to be continued.
Organize study tours, industrial visits, field visits, nature tours, and treks.
Organize NCC / NSS camps to inculcate community living.
Organize sports camps by inviting national coaches in various games.
Make provision of sports facilities on the campus.
To organize seminars/conference/ workshops for staff and students.
To start competitive and career guidance cell.
To lead ‘Lek Ladaki’ and ‘Door to Door Visit’ as best practice.
